以"爱国、奉献、求真、创新"为标志的钱学森精神是钱学森科学人生的真实写照与集中体现。钱学森精神共分萌芽、塑造、形成、成熟、发展五个阶段,肇始于良好的家庭和学校教育,成就于回国后从事的新中国国防科技事业,彰显于改革开放与社会主义现代化建设。在内涵上,钱学森精神具有四个基本维度:爱国是基石,奉献是本质,求真是核心,创新是灵魂;在属性上,钱学森精神具有规范性、典型性、标志性和思想性等特征。在全社会大力宣传和弘扬钱学森精神,对于社会主义核心价值体系建设具有重要现实意义。
