CHINA＇S PARTICIPATION IN THE WTO DISPUTES SETTLEMENT MECHANISM FOR TEN YEARS

摘要 China has participated in the WTO for ten years. It can be divided into two stages, which have different features for the firstfive years and the second five years. As China has become the new emerging power in the WTO, many comments have focused on its participation in the WTO, especially its practice in the DSM. China, as a new member in the WTO, is not very aggressive, and all the challenges and issues to be settled largely depend on its participation capacity in the WTO.
