摘要
台湾地区于1997年开始推动生命教育,使其由中等学校的一项专案计划发展成为各级学校教学系统的一部分,并逐渐成为社会终身教育的一环。台湾生命教育兴起的背景是经济快速发展、社会伦理道德滑坡和学校道德教育的缺失。其内涵包括终极关怀领域、伦理思考领域和人格统整领域。大陆生命教育的开展可以学习台湾的经验,明确界定生命教育的范围,借鉴政府、学校、民间团体共同作用的"三角模式",改变社会对技术性知识的盲目崇拜,从而使生命教育从根本上摆脱被边缘化的命运。
Taiwan government started to promote life education from 1997. It evolved from a project implemented in secondary schools into an integrated part of educational system in all levels and then a significant part of lifelong education. The backgrounds of life education in Taiwan included the rapid economic development, moral bankruptcy, and the insufficiency of moral education in schools. Life education in Taiwan includes ultimate concerns, ethical thinking and integrated personality. Learning from Taiwan's experiences and in order to prevent life education from marginalization, we should establish an explicit definition of life education; use the "triangle model" which coordinate the government, schools and NGOs; and change the blind adoration of "technical/instrumental knowledge".
