Translation strategies vary with different topics and types. Tang poetry is still quite popular nowadays due to its changeable forms and rich contents. Its implications, puns and idioms also enjoy great popularity. This paper discusses the translation strategy concerning the contents of Chinese cultural features in Tang poetry in order to establish translation rules step by step.
