Silviculture measures for high-quality and high-yield were summarized on basis of years of study and practice on Codonopsis Lanceolata. The rhizome was smooth and gracile and fewer branches grew by means of root pruning, shaping and fertilization. The quality was improved and the economic profit was enhanced by 23.5%.
