In the new period of popularity of the network, information, and globalization, the reform of application of the traditional specialty of Chinese language and literature becomes one of the important tasks of reform of specialties in colleges and universities. The courses must highlight the application, time, place settings, and serve the development of local economy and culture; teachers must pay attention to the research-type and practical teaching methods and examination methods; students must pay attention to the independent, cooperative, research-based learning method.
