由于岩盐层的蠕动,井壁失稳易造成套管失效,会给油田勘探和开采工作带来巨大损失。东濮凹陷地区岩层发育的特征要求所用套管的抗挤强度达到168 MPa,以适应苛刻的地质环境。实验室开发出160 kpsi钢级高强度高韧性的新材料,进而制造出Ф 141.3×11.3 mm非API规格、抗挤强度超过170 MPa的抗挤套管,并成功应用于中原油田。与原来使用的Ф 152.4×16.9 mm厚壁管相比,新开发的套管不仅能够提高生产安全系数,而且还能给油田带来巨大的经济效益。
Owing to the creep of salt rock, well-hole instability may cause casing collapse failure, leading to tremendous economic loss to oil field exploration and exploitation. The salt bed stratum in Dongpu Depression has been developed so well that casings with a collapse strength as high as 168 MPa were needed to cope with such severe geological conditions. A new 160 kpsi grade high- strength material with enough toughness was developed at the laboratory, and then non-API Ф141.3x11.3 mm casings with a collapse strength no lower than 170 MPa were successfully prepared and applied in the Dongpu Depression region. In comparison with the formerly used Ф152.4 x 16.9 mm thick wall casings, the newly developed casings can not only provide enough safety margin for oil exploration and exploitation, but also bring great economic benefits to oilfield companies.
