A Critical Review on Archival Appraisal Theories and Methodologies in European Mainland Countries

本文从欧洲大陆国家档案鉴定思想发展与演变的角度出发,对档案鉴定理论与方法论选择过程中的争论进行梳理,并对意大利、法国、德国档案鉴定思想进行了评价。内容分析法和结构分析法是欧洲大陆国家档案鉴定中采用的主要分析方法,前者关注文件的内容,后者关注文件所反映的组织结构。这两种分析方法的支撑原则分别是事由原则与来源原则。这两种原则在档案整理与著录中的差异较为明显,但是在鉴定中却可以融合,成为指导档案鉴定工作的完备性的思想。

From the perspective of archival appraisal development,this essay combs the appraisal and methodology,and assesses the appraisal ideas in Europe mainland.Content analysis and structural analysis are the main analysis methods in the process of archival appraisal.The former focuses on the content of records,while the latter focuses on the structure of an organization.Respectively based on the principle of pertinence and provenance,the two analysis methods can be connected to apply into archival appraisal practices.
