After ＂ten years of the Great Cultural Revolution＂, Sun Li was greatly shocked and totally confused. He began to suspect his many past beliefs, because he has not found new spiritual prop. In his early years, Sun Li was romantic and passionate, he created pure and fresh works, such as Lotus Pond series, which were well received. In his later years, he could write such works no more. There are external environment reasons and his personal temperament causes. Sun Li was timid and overcautious in his later years, he was carefully looking for a spiritual escapement in stack of books.
