"道口经济"就是利用高速公路运输的方便和通达性实现的地区经济发展热点,在只以高速公路出入口为发展区域的单一型"道口经济"下,出入口区域的经济形式主要受到高速公路的影响。随着南通基础设施建设步伐的加快,市区周边形成了众多高速公路交叉口,为"道口经济"的发展提供了基础。按照避免重复建设和角色分工的要求,南通周边的高速出入口形成了各具特色的"道口经济"区,为南通整体经济发展和城镇化进程提供动力。

Crossing economy, which is based on the convenience and accessibility of highway transportation, is a hot zone of regional economic development. The forms of crossing economy established only in the entry and exit zones are mainly influenced by the highways. With the acceleration of infrastructure construction of Nan- tong City, there are more and more highway crossings surrounding the city,which provides a basis for the de- velopment of crossing economy. To avoid repetitive construction and to meet the requirements of role assign- ment, crossing economic zones with distinctive characteristics have been established in the entry and exit zones of highways, greatly promoting the overall economic development and urbanization of Nantong City.
