Comments on the Flaws in Retelling Works and Historical Data in The 30 Years of Chinese Modern Literature (Revised Edition)

钱理群、温儒敏、吴福辉等先生著的《中国现代文学三十年》,作为目前大多数高等院校本科生的指定教材,印量甚大,影响甚巨,但直到1998年的修订本,仍然在作品复述与史料复述上存在一些瑕疵。本文指出其中的25条瑕疵,对其他学者提过的错误不再重复。之所以指出其错漏,是希望这都优秀教材日臻完善,不再继续给大学师生以负面影响,也希望著者能以更认真的精神对待史料的"多"与"真",让研究回到文本自身。但是瑕不掩瑜,该教材依然是同类教材中的佼佼者。

As an undergraduate text book appointed by many colleges, The 30 Years of Chinese Modern Literature, compiled by Qian Liqun, Wen Rumin, Wu Fuhui and others, has been published in huge amount with wide influence. Yet there are some flaws in terms of retelling works and historical date in this book, even in its last 1998 revised edition. Without repeating the errors already pointed out by other scholars, this paper picks out 25 more, expecting to improve this excellent text book so as not to leave negative influence to teach- ers and students any more. I also expect the authors to take more serious attitude in dealing with the ＂quanti- ty＂ and ＂authenticity＂ of the historical data, and let the research return to itself. Nevertheless, flaws cannot obscure the splendor of the jade, this is still the outstanding one among the similar text books.
