The recent Shanghai style war film is the Purple Butterfly, which gives a pictorial presentation of the city＇ s unique war memory, and continues the history and tradition of Shanghai＇ s war films. The aesthetic value and cultural demeanor of Purple Butterfly should be recognized in this sense.
