摘要
海底电力电缆常用的径向挡水层有聚合物护套、综合护层、金属套等。对于设计寿命不长的水下或海底挤包固体绝缘电力电缆,径向挡水层可使用聚合物护套,在多种聚合物材料中,应优先采用高密度聚乙烯;一般中压海底电力电缆可以使用综合护层结构作为径向挡水层;高压或超高压海底电力电缆宜以金属套结构作为径向挡水层,金属套应做防腐处理。文中给出了一些应用实例,并对几种类型的径向挡水层进行了性能比较。
Normally,the radial water barrier of a submarine power cable may be made of polymer sheath,laminated metal-polyethylene sheath,or metal sheath.The radial water barrier of polymer sheath can be used in the extruded insulation underwater or submarine power cable designed for short-term service.HDPE is selected to use for the radial water barrier prior to other polymer materials.The laminated metal-polyethylene sheath can be used in a general medium voltage submarine power cable.The metal sheath can be used in a high or extra-high voltage submarine power cable and has to be protected from corrosion.The paper gives some application examples and compares the performances of several types of radial water barrier.
