Future Sino-Russian Relationship in the Asia-Pacific Region

亚太地区逐渐成为吸引全世界眼球的聚焦点。这一地区很可能成为当今世界在一个较长阶段中经济社会发展最快的地区;该地区也是世界上发展水平和治理模式最具多样性的一个区域。中国与俄罗斯作为亚太地区的大国,当前两国关系正进入一个新的发展阶段。中俄两国的现代化进程有可能成为一个可以通过相互"内化"以求得相互支持的合作过程。两国在亚太地区开展的合作非常有可能超出以往的深度与规模,两国联手合作有可能具有改变力量格局的动能。在安全事务方面,中俄两国元首在2013年的联合声明中,提出了有关地区安全的新构想;在经济合作等方面,中国的城市化进程、俄罗斯的远东、西伯利亚开发,为中俄在亚太地区的合作留下了巨大的空间。针对面向亚太未来的中俄关系,还需要对若干理论和战略问题进行深入研究。

The Asia-Pacific region is gradually becoming a focus of international attention. This area may be the fastest growing region both economically and socially in current world in a rather long period. Meanwhile, this region is also a region with the most diversification either in development levels or in governance models on the earth. The relationship between China and Russia, two great powers in Asia-Pacific, is entering a new stage. The modernization in both countries can become a cooperative process for mutual support through mutual ＂internalization＂. Both countries＇ cooperation in Asia-Pacific is very likely to go beyond the past depth and scale, their coordinative cooperation will become a dynamic for power changes in this region. As to security affairs, new concepts have been put forward in Sino-Russian Joint Statement in 2013. As for economic cooperation, China＇s urbanization and development in Russian Far East and Siberia have left enormous space for Sino-Russian cooperation in Asia-Pacific. Regarding future Sino-Russian relationship in Asia-Pacific, various theoretical and strategic issues need to be explored further
