On the Morality and Operation in the Cultivation of College Students

大学生培养中的道就是培养大学生的理想信念、人格、视野胸怀等,大学生培养中的术就是培养大学生的专业知识和操作技能。过去,我们过于强调大学生对专业技术等具体知识的学习,忽视大学生对理想信念以及健全人格的修习,亦即偏重于术的锻炼,忽视道的提升。为了改变大学生培养中重术轻道的现象,许多高校开始探索博雅教育的培养模式。这一培养模式十分重视大学生对道的修习,将谋道与谋术相结合,以谋道为主,用道来统领术。

In the cultivation of college students, there is the difference between morality and operation. The morali- ty means to cultivate students＇ belief, soul, personality, vision, bosom etc. , and the operation means to train students＇ professional knowledge and skills. In the past, we emphasized too much on college students＇ professional technology learning, and ignored the ideal faith and healthy personality training. For this reason, many universities have begun to explore the training mode of quality education, which pays great attention to college students＇ way to practice , and seeks the way to combine morality with operation.
