Because of the differences between Chinese and western cultures and historical backgrounds, there are different cultural connotations of color terms, which will probably lead to social misunderstandings. To acquaint with other meanings of color terms will contribute to the exchange of languages and cultures between nations. For example, ＂white＂ not only means one of the colors, but also has other extended meanings and metaphorical meanings.
