The Development of Rural Informatisation in China from 2006 to 2010 and the Suggestions on Im provement

"十一五"期间我国农村信息化建设发展迅速。在国家大力推进农村信息化建设的趋势下,农村信息基础设施加速普及,农村信息服务站基本覆盖所有行政村,农业生产经营活动信息化水平日渐提升。在分析我国19个省、市、自治区、直辖市农村信息化建设工作报告的基础上,结合相关数据,概括了"十一五"期间我国农村信息化建设的发展成就,探讨各地区信息化发展的共同点及创新之处,对农村信息化工作存在的困难与问题进行了总结,并基于各地的工作实践提出促进农村信息化科学发展的对策建议。

The development of rural informatisation in China is remarkable from 2006 to 2010.With the great investment by government, the infrastructure of rural informatisation developed quickly in China.Almost every administrative village has constructed a rural information service station by 2010.The information technology is gradually applied in agricultural production and operation.The paper analyses related data and the work reports of 19 provinces and summarises the achievements of rural informatisation by 2010 in China.Meanwhile, the paper discusses the innovation and problems of rural informatisation in different provinces, and gives four suggestions based on domestic work practice.
