园林学是一门集自然科学、工程技术与人文科学于一体、综合性极强的学科。该文阐述了园林专业设置及其发展历程,以及市场前景,在分析国内现状、市场需求和南方高职院校园林专业建设情况的基础上,针对东莞职业技术学院园林专业建设情况提出了园林专业的定位与发展对策。

As to take the specialty construction of landscape as the research object,some factors were analyzed, such as the characteristics of higher vocational education, the social requirements and the current situation of landscape education. Base on these, this article puts forward the orientation and development direction of landscape technology in Dongguan Polytechnic.
