The configuration,major equipment and technology process of the automatic weight data collecting and processing system for hot metal in the 260 t converter of Gerenal Steelmaking Plant of Angang Steel Co.,Ltd.are introduced.After the system is put into operation,the time for collecting,calculating and storing the weight data of hot metal in the 260 t converter is shorted to less than 1 second from more than 1 minute,the heat number of the error weight data of hot metal in converter is reduced to 0 % from 8% and the end point target-hitting percentages of carbon content and temperature are increased by 2.0% and 1.5% respectively.
