The water-coal slurry cold wall gasification technology is a kind of new type coal gasification technology through technological improvement and innovation on the basis of non slag-slag staged gasification technology.The general situation,superior characteristics,and operation situation in industrial plants of the technology,as well as its prospect of commercial application in petrochemical industry were introduced.This paper holds that the technology is becoming mature and perfect,and several property indexes can represent world advanced level at present.It is entering into petrochemical industry from traditional coal chemical industry,which breaks an innovative path for clean development and utilization of the rich coal resource in China.
