This article, to begin with the necessity to build a characteristic data base of Shangrao＇ s documents in the library of Shangrao Normal University, analyzes the advantages of building such a data base, illustrates the content and the frame structure of building such a data base for the purpose of sharing resources and serving the teaching, research and local economy.
