ANISOTROPY OF THE UPPER MANTLE FROM THE INVERSION OF SURFACE WAVE DATA

本文论述了上地幔各向异性的参数描述和主要证据,以及与地球动力学的关系。并就近几年来国外利用地震面波研究上地幔各向异性的重要成果和主要方法作了综合评述。

The elastic parameters, their main evidences and relevance to the earth's dynamics of the anisotropy of the upper mantle are discussed in this paper. Some important results achieved by other researchers in recent years are summaried and an introduction to the methods used to inverse the surface wave data is included.
