Infantile amnesia is the inability to remember autobiographical experiences from the first years of life.Though studies indicated that this phenomenon is quite common,Cross-cultural studies have shown that culture may influence the offset of infantile amnesia and the content of the earliest recollections.Though the theoretical explanation of infantile amnesia is still controversial,cultural context is an important influential factor of this phenomenon.
