Reflection on Optimizing the Specialty Structure in the Newly-established Colleges and Universities in Fujian Province

分析福建省新建本科院校专业结构现状及其存在的问题,提出应根据学校办学定位,通过科学制定专业建设规划、建立专业建设服务平台和开展专业评估,以促进福建省新建本科院校专业结构优化,提高专业建设水平和人才培养质量。

This paper firstly analyzes the current situation and existing problems of the specialty structure in the newly-established colleges and universities in Fujian Province. Then it points out that according to the orientation for school management, specialty construction planning should be scientifically designed, specialty construction service platform established and professional evaluation carried out, so as to optimize the specialty structure in the newly-established colleges and universities, and to promote the professional level of the development and talent training quality.
