资本深化、重工业化、技术进步与西部地区工业就业增长——基于Panel-data模型的实证分析

Capital Deepening,Heavy Industrialization,Technological Progress and Industrial Employment Growth of the Western Region——Analysis Based on the Panel-data Model

基于2001～2010年的省际面板数据,对我国西部地区工业资本深化、重工业化和技术进步对工业就业增长的影响进行实证研究,结果表明,重工业化对就业的负面影响最大,技术进步对就业增长产生的负面效应相对较小,负面影响最小的是工业资本深化。统计分析表明,在2004～2010年期间,西部地区工业的资本——劳动比逐步下降,未表现出资本深化,但重工业化趋势明显,技术进步明显。为提高工业增长的就业效应,西部地区应积极改善投资环境,承接东部地区劳动密集型产业,调整工业内部结构,把技术进步的重点放在促进劳动密集型产业上,通过提高劳动密集型产业的竞争力扩大产业规模,形成就业扩张效应。

Based on the panel-data of the west’s provinces during 2001～2010,the paper analyzes the effect of the industrial capital deepening,heavy industrialization,technological progress.The result shows that：the heavy industrialization has the greatest negative impact on employment,the negative effects of technological progress on employment growth is relatively small,capital deepening has minimal negative impact on employment growth.Statistical analysis shows that：the industrial capital of the western region-labor ratio gradually decreased in the period 2004～2010,did not show a trend of capital deepening,but the trend of heavy industrialization and technological progress.In order to improve the employment effects of industrial growth,the western region should actively improve the investment environment,actively undertake industrial transfer,and adjust the internal structure of industry by developing labor-intensive industries.At the same time,to expand the industrial scale and improve the employment expansion effect,the west region should focus on improving labor-intensive industries’ competitiveness by promoting technological progress of labor-intensive industries.
