台湾民众面对“中国大陆崛起”的复杂心态

The Complex Psychology of the Public of Taiwan over "the Rise of Mainland"

台湾民众面对"中国大陆崛起"产生了一些矛盾而复杂的心态。本文认为主要的心态是:承认或不承认"崛起"的事实,既看到机遇又感受挑战,挫折感与自尊需求,参与与疑惧等,并对此加以概括性的描述。在提出矛盾与复杂心态的基础上,探讨它对台湾民众对两岸关系的态度,特别是对身份认同的影响,指出"强化自我认同,维持两岸现状"仍然是当前的主流民意。因此,如何面对这种心态及其影响才能有利于两岸关系的和平发展,应当是两岸必须研究的一个重要课题。

This paper provides a general description of some complicated yet contradictory mentalities that the Taiwan public has held over ＂the rise of China's Mainland＂ which, the writer believes,include：to recognize or not to recognize the ＂rise＂, opportunities versus challenges, feelings of frustration versus needs of self-esteem, participation versus fear and so on. On the other hand,the paper also makes a detailed study of how the complex psychology affects the attitude of the pepole in Taiwan to- wards the relationships between the two sides, especially their identity recognition, pointing out that ＂strengthening self-identity and maintaining the status quo of the two sides＂ is still the mainstream public opinion nowadays. Therefore, it is an important subject that the two sides should study carefully whether or not we can handle the complex psychology and its influence well so as to favor the Cross-Strait peaceful development.
