From two aspects of how to enhance the status and function of the professional library and how to improve the scientific research competitiveness of research institute, this paper probes into the practical significance for professional library to carry out the information services, and taking the library of Guangxi Institute of Chinese Medicine ＆ Pharmaceutical Science as an example, discusses the strategies for improving the level of information service of the library of research institute.
