1-（3＇-Amino-2＇,4＇,6＇-trinitrophenyl）-4,5-dinitroimidazole was structurally determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The title compound belongs to the monoclinic system, space group P212121 with a = 8.4941（7）, b = 12.7651（10）, c = 13.3699（12）A, V= 1449.7（2） A3, Z = 4, Dc = 1.760 g/cm^3, p = 0.162 mm^-1, F（000） = 776, R = 0.0780 and wR = 0.1453.
