Feasibility Study on Tele-home Health Management System Construction for the Elderly

人口快速老龄化使我国传统的医疗卫生服务模式遭受到极大的挑战,也使新兴的居家健康管理面临广阔的发展前景。然而,由于远程医学发展和配套政策的限制,居家老年健康管理系统的整合及构建效果并不显著。本文探讨居家老年健康管理系统的内涵,分析居家老年健康管理系统构建的现实意义及支持因素,论证这一系统构建的可行性,以期推动居家老年健康管理服务的发展,从而降低整体医疗成本,加深个体对自我健康状况的认识,促进积极持续的自我健康管理。

With acceleration of aging process of population, a severe challenge has been posed to our nation＇s tradi- tional health care service mode. Meanwhile, tele - home health management industry is flourishing. Due to the limitation of tale- medicine development and supporting policies, however, effect of integration and construction of tele - home health management system for the elderly is not satisfactory. Here we probe into the intension of tele - home health management system for the elder- ly, analyze the significance of its construction and supporting factors, and demonstrate the feasibility to construct this system, with a purpose to promote the development of tele - home health management service and thus reduce general cost of healthcare, to deepen the understanding of personal health condition and promote positive and persistent health self- management.
