The Interior Design Methods of Vernacularism:A Case Study of “WAKU” Tearooms Designed by Western Designer Yuping

在国内室内设计行业繁荣发展的同时,设计的价值取向更成为业界探讨的热点,在全球化的背景下,不同的风格取向更是设计内涵的重要表征。该文通过对西部设计师余平设计的"瓦库"系列茶室的剖析,探索了室内设计在全球化的背景下,其乡土性及地域性如何体现。并以批判地域主义的视角分析中国东西部地区设计的现实境域,以及在面对本土问题时,设计应采取的策略和方法。

Based on the prosperity of the domestic interior design industry, the design value orientation became a hot issue among the industry and academe. Meanwhile, against the background of globalization, style orientation is an important character of the design content. On the basis of the case studies of ＂WAKU＂ tearooms, which are designed by western designer Yuping, this article explores the interior design methods of vernacularism and rationality in the context of globalization, analyzes the reason of the gap in the design between east and west in china from the perspective of critical regionalism, and also reveals the design strategy and method in the face of local issues.
