Green consumption is important for China＇s economic development. In this paper, the important impact of green consumption on China＇s economic development are discussed from the development of circular economy in China, the change of economic growth pattern, the development of foreign trade, the development of environmental protection industry, reduction of huge economic losses caused by environmental pollution, the transformation of the production mode, and development of reasonable public consumption ethics and other aspects. The green consumption is suited to China＇s national conditions, and has a positive impact to China＇s economic development.
