To construct branch library of the reference room in university accords with the economics of scope, in aspects of service cost, management innovation, literature＇s propagation and technology promotion etc., subject sub-library has more superiority than the reference room, so this paper analyzes the reasons and superiorities of college＇s reference room from the economics of scope, so as to further illustrate the feasibility and importance of branch library.
