从“榜题”看《平番得胜图卷》

Suppressing the Northwest Rebellion and Its Inscriptions

《平番得胜图卷》是明代纪功与纪实绘画的重要作品。文章在朱启钤《平番得胜图跋》和瞿宣颖《平番得胜图考》的研究基础上,主要从《平番得胜图卷》的榜题出发,运用新的研究方法和相关史料对画卷展开研究,进一步提出若干具有价值的新观点。文章考证《平番得胜图卷》所绘事件的年代为万历二年至万历四年(1574-1576),且画面两段之间存在缺失问题。文章根据画面结构将画卷重新划分段落,并对画卷的内容进行了梳理和补充。此外,文章考察了《平番纪事》与《平番得胜图卷》之间的关系,认为二者具有相同的目的和主要的歌颂对象。

Suppressing the Northwest Rebellion is an important Ming dynasty historical painting depicting military victory. Based on postscripts by Zhu Qiqian and Qu Xuanying as well as related historical records, the current author uses new research methods in studying its inscriptions. It is argued that the historical event depicted in this scroll took place in the second to fourth years of the Wanli period （1574-1576） and there are missing links between the two sections. The author reorganizes different sections and provides additional information about the painting. By comparing this scroll with Records on Suppressing the Northwest Rebellion the author believes the two share the same theme.
