Glycine Betaine and Its Relationships with Plant Salt Resistance

摘要 非生物胁迫尤其是水盐胁迫一直是影响农业生产的关键因素,培育耐盐耐寒新品种也一直是生物育种的研究方向,甜菜碱作为一种小分子的非毒性渗透调节剂,是植物响应非生物胁迫的重要物质。综述了甘氨酸甜菜碱合成途径中的胆碱单加氧酶和甜菜碱醛脱氢酶这两种关键酶的分子生物学特性及其基因工程的最新研究进展。 Abiotic stress, especially the water salt stress had always been the key tactors that atiected agricultural production, cultivating salt-tolerant hardy varieties had also been a biological breeding research direction, betaine as a non toxic, osmotic regulator, it was an important material of plant response to abiotie stress. Molecular biological characteristics of the two key enzymes and their genetic engineering of the latest research progress of the single oxygenase choline and betaine aldehyde dehydrogenase in glycine betaine synthesis pathway was reviewed in this paper.
