摘要
当前主流数字地球平台在处理海量三维模型时普遍存在渲染效率不高的缺点。经过分析数字地球中海量三维模型实时可视化的特点,从多精度三维模型数据的生成和组织、海量三维模型的可视化、海量数据的动态调度和优化这几个关键技术着手研究,提出了一种适用于数字地球中实现海量三维模型实时可视化的新方法。该方法提升了系统渲染效率,同时还具有易于扩展和跨平台的优点。通过在NASA World Wind中设计并实现的原型系统验证了新方法的可行性和先进性。
The mainstream digital earth platforms have bad efficiency on rendering when deal with massive 3D models. After analyzing the characteristics of massive 3D models in real-time visualization, the paper studied the generation and organization of data in multi-precision 3D model, the visualization of massive 3D models, dynamic scheduling and optimization of massive data. Then, a new method about real-time visualization of massive 3D models in the digital earth was proposed. The method improves the system' s efficiency of render, and also has the advantage of easy extension and cross-platform. The feasibility and advantage of the new method have been verified by a prototype system which is designed and implemented on NASA World Wind.
