摘要
认知理论强调学习主体自身的能动作用和学习的认知过程,所以自然成为外语学习研究的焦点之一。本文从认知理论视角阐释外语学习策略理论研究的实质及其重要性,并以国外学习策略理论模式为例,解读认知和元认知理论与外语学习策略理论研究的关联性。
Cognitive theory has brought about tremendous change in foreign language teaching and research, in which great emphasis is put on the learner role and their cognitive learning processes. As a result, learner strategies research has become a focus in language teaching research. This paper aims to discuss from a cognitive perspective on the nature and significance of the theoretical study on language learning strategies. In order to elaborate its full application and development of the theory in strategy research, this paper, drawn upon Western theoretical models of language learning strategies, presents and interprets the relations between cognitive, meta-cognitive theories and research on language learning strategies.
