美国高等教育认证的挑战与政策转向 被引量:1

摘要 美国高等教育质量认证传统在维护院校的多样灵活、卓越以及保证联邦财政拨款的有效利用等方面一直起着很大作用。近10年来美国高等教育的学术水平下降、学费上涨致使教育机会减少等变化给传统认证带来了诸多挑战,而认证机构面对新形式的不作为及公众和政府对高等教育质量及认证机构的不满,导致联邦政府开始加强认证的监管。未来一段时期内美国高等教育认证有可能朝政府与民间共同参与的方向发展。
