Empirical Analysis of FDI Institutional Spillover Effects on Industrial Growth Rate

本文通过引入制度因素,考虑FDI进入中国后对于中国经济运行制度形成冲击,促进市场化进程加速,从而促进经济增长。将FDI的溢出效应分为技术溢出和制度溢出来分析,并且提出制度溢出的路径,从而更好地解释FDI溢出效应。在实证分析阶段,本文选用各地区市场化进程指数作为制度变量,基于1997—2009年省际面板数据模型得出FDI进入中国后存在制度溢出效应,且制度溢出明显。

From the perspective of institutional factors, the paper studies the FDI＇s impacts on the current economic operation system of China, which can actualize faster marketization and economic growth. The spillover effects of the FDI can be classified into two types： technological and institutional. Analyzing both aspects, the study proposes the path of institutional spillovers so that the spillover effects can be better explained. In the empirical analysis, the index of market process is chosen as the institutional variable. Based on 1997--2009 provincial panel data model, we obtain the conclusion： there exist institutional spillovers after the FDI entry into China, and the effects are obvious.
