The principle that the RLC series circuit produces high voltage when resonance happens and the measures to talse the voltage are discussed.The striking and stabilizing arc machine consisting of a RLC series resonant circuit of the AC TIG welding machine is introduced.Under the condition of low current,the booster can strike and stabilize arc effectively.
