新生代农民工市民化的困境及其出路研究——基于苏州市的调研

A Study on the Plight of the New-generation Migrant Workers' Urbanization and Their Way Out:A Research in SuZhou

在当前我国城镇化的进程中,苏州市作为仅次于深圳市的全国第二大"移民"城市,其外向型的经济发展对年轻一代农民工形成了巨大的吸引力。由此,这些在苏州市打工的年轻一代农民工的市民化程度就成了评判苏州市现行农民工政策成功与否的一个重要标准。基于对苏州市新生代农民工生存现状的抽样调查,从迁入地因素、迁出地因素、中间阻碍因素和个人因素四个方面深入剖析影响苏州市新生代农民工市民化的因素,以求发现新生代农民工的生存困境及其解决路径。

In the process of urbanization in China, as the second largest immigrant city next to Shenzhen, Suzhou has attracted lots of new-generation migrant workers for its export-oriented economic development. Therefore, the urbanization level of migrant workers becomes essential to assess the achievements of the relevant policies with them. Upon a sample analysis of the living conditions of new migrant workers in Suzhou, the paper explores their destination, immigration, intermediate constraints and personal elements in the urbanization of new migrant workers and tries to find out the social dilemma of the new-generation migrant workers as well as possible solutions.
