摘要
保护保险消费者权益对维护消费者信心、树立保险行业形象,进而推动行业持续健康发展至关重要。保护保险消费者权益是一项复杂的系统工程,需要打造消费者自我保护、保险企业自觉、行业自律、部门监管、司法保护、社会舆论监督六位一体的消费者保护体系。本文基于信访投诉反映出的问题,从监管角度对如何进一步保护保险消费者权益进行思考并提出相关建议。
Protecting rights and interests of insurance consumers is very important to maintain consumer confidence, establish the image of the insurance industry, and promote the sustained and healthy development of the industry. Protecting rights and interests of insurance consumers is a complicated system engineering and needs to build a consumer protection system which is integrated by six aspects as consumer self-protection, insurance enterprise self-consciousness, the industry self-discipline, department supervision, judi- cial protection and social supervision by public opinions. Based on the problems reflected from complaints, from the perspective of regulation, the paper discusses how to further protect rights and interests of insurance consumers and puts forward relevant suggestions.
