摘要
位置分辨率是衡量时间投影室工作性能的重要指标。论文首先介绍了时间投影室位置分辨率的基本理论。在已有理论的基础上,针对两种不同的MPGD探测器,对时间投影室原型机的位置分辨率做了计算。同时还预测了未来ILC上时间投影室的位置分辨率能够达到的水平。此外,对与位置分辨率紧密相关的响应函数也做了研究。
Spatial resolution is an important parameter for evaluating performance of Time projection Chamber. The basic theory of spatial resolution of TPC is introduced firstly in the paper. Based on the existing theory, the spatial resolution of TPC prototype under two different MPGD detectors is calculated. Meanwhile the spatial res- olution that can be achieved in the future LCTPC is predicted. In addition, the pad response function that is closely related to the spatial resolution is also studied.
