尾巨桉幼林浇水试验

Watering Experiment in Eucalyptus urophylla×E. grandis Juvenile Plantation

通过对26个月生尾巨桉(Eucalyptus urophylla×E.grandis)幼林浇水与不浇水二者林分生长情况分析,表明浇水处理对幼树生长有一定促进作用,林龄26个月生时,浇水处理林分树高、胸径比不浇水处理林分分别高2.52%、4.26%,但二者间差异不显著。起作用的浇水月份均为降雨少的2、3、4、10、11月,而在降雨充足的6、7、8月,浇水对幼树生长没有作用;在如广西东门林场的气候与林地条件下,尾巨桉幼林浇水作用效果微小,并且现实中难以进行大面积浇水。

The comparison of growth between the 26-month-old E. urophylla x E. grandis juvenile plan- tations being watered and those not being watered （control） showed that the growth of young trees were promoted to a certain extent through watering. At the age of 26 months, there was no significant differ- ence on tree height （HT） and diameter at breast height （DBH） between watering and control, with the former HT and DBH were just higher than the later 2. 52% and 4. 26% respectively. The effect of wate- ring occurred in February, March, April, October and November with low rainfall, while no effect in June, July and August with high rainfall. Generally, the effect of watering to E. urophylla x E. grandis juvenile plantation was small and it is difficult to water the plantation in large scale practically in the areas where the climate and land conditions are similar to Dongmen Forest Farm.
