Ecological Marxism: Dual Dimensions in Surveying Social Developmental Momentum

与人道派及科学派西方马克思主义或偏重主体或侧重客体的两极不同,生态派马克思主义基于人的主体性,通过挖掘马克思文本中的生态学思想资源,引入"文化"、"自然"的概念,在重构历史唯物主义的尝试中,揭示了劳动和物质生产的文化维度与自然维度,显现了在社会发展动力问题上,既重视主体价值,又强调自然客体的双重向度。

Different from the doctrines of the humanitarian and scientific trends of western Marxism which puts the emphasis on either subjectivity or objectivity,ecological Marxism emphasizes the subjectivity of humanity,devotes to digging up the ecological thought resources in Marxist texts and introducing the concepts of ＂culture＂ and ＂nature＂. In its attempt to reconstruct historical materialism, ecological Marxism has uncovered the cultural and natural dimensions in surveying labor and material production,opening up a dual dimensional trend which stresses not only on the subjective value but also on the objective natural valexamining social developmental momentum.
