Problem - based learning is an innovative teaching method which has been applied in some basic course teaching. It plays an irreplaceable role in cultivating the interest and stimulating the potential learning ability of the students. After applying it in the profes- sional course of power and electronic technology, not only the students＇learning interest was improved, but also their abilities of mastering course knowledge and engineering practice were heightened.
