Transmission is a technical and economical optimization selection for the the network to meet the needs of service transfer under certain technical and economic conditions. This paper introduces the present situation of Anhui Tietong network backbone after the separation of the public network and the dedicated network. From multiple perspectives, existing problems of the network is analyzed and the con- struction scheme of the Anhui Tietong transmission network is given. The construction project adopted mature transmission equipment to build up a safe and reliable network and controlled the investment prop- erly with moderate capability and can meet the fundamental development needs of Anhui Tietong.
