On account of his mob theory in A Tale of Two Cities,Charles Dickens has always been criticized.From the perspective of Albert Camus＇s existential humanism,this article carefully analyses two groups of characters in the novel： oppressor—rebel and revenge—resurrection to demonstrate the connection between these two writers＇ humanistic thoughts in every detail.
