This paper describes the generation background, general framework and file system of the ＂Code for quality management of engineering construction enterprises＂ （briefly as ＂Code＂）,i.e. GB/T 50430, and reveals the key aspects that building construction enterprises should focus on when carrying out the certification of re- lated two standards. This paper is instructive and meaningful for the building construction enterprises to deeply understand the ＂Code＂, promote the establishment of the quality management systems, and improve the effec- tiveness and sufficiency of implementing quality management.
