摘要
中国东晋时期的田园诗宗陶渊明与19世纪美国"超验主义"代表作家梭罗可谓世界文学史上之"隐者双星",他们的作品中意象离离,不仅提升了读者的审美情趣,而且蕴含了珍贵的生命意识与自然意识,并在中美不同的文化建构中生发出生命话题的默契以及对人类心灵痼疾与现世人性的拷问与劝谏。
Chinese Pastoral Poet Tao Yuan--ming and American writer Henry David Thoreau are the two famous hermits in the world literary history. From the literary aesthetic level, a myriad of images adopted by the two in their works do a lot in cultivating readers" aesthetic feeling. In the meantime, these images pave an even road for readers" approaching na- ture and sucking the marrow of life. Moreover, we may deeply experience the same significance of the images in the two hermits' works on the present world and self--examine human nature and the earthly pursuit of material satisfaction in the light of different cultural construction.
