On the Development of Transportation Industry during the Period for "The 12th Five-Year Plan"

交通运输业的健康持续发展是国民经济和社会正常运行和发展的重要基础和前提;"十二五"规划期间我国交通运输业仍处于大发展的重要战略发展时期,为进一步推进我国交通运输业的持续健康发展,要继续加大力度,建立健全综合交通运输体系;进一步转变交通运输发展方式,实现可持续发展;转变政府职能,提高交通运输管理水平;争取在国际交通运输领域的话语权、发展权;

Healthy and sustainable development of the transport industry is an important foundation and prerequisite of the economic and social development. During the period of ＂the12th Five-Year Plan＂, the transport industry in our country is still being in a great development period. In order to further pro mote Chinese sustained and healthy development of the transport industry, we should strengthen its ef forts to establish and improve the overall transportation system~ further change development mode of transport, achieve sustainable development; transform government functions, improve the level of traffic management; and fight for the right of speech and development in field of international transportation, and speed up the construction of talent team for transportation.
